These magazines are posted with a huge amount of gratitude and appreciation to Sharon Bryan, a 40yr+ teacher at La Center High School, who had to talk long and hard for several years to get them to allow her to teach this class, where she’d send some 50 kids “out into the community” to homes and property all around La Center, to interview and take pictures of not only pioneers, but current business owners and athletes along with covering special events – can you imagine doing that now?!?! What a treasure they are – full of tons of history! Thank you Sharon!!
