GO WILDCATS!!
These graduation photos once lined the walls of the La Center high school between the years of 1938 & 1984. When the school remodeled in 1984, these class photos were removed and tossed in a dumpster. Fortunatly, some were recovered by Ken Manning. Sadly, some were not.
The fortunate ones (30 total) were kept by a teacher, Mrs. Sharon Bryan for nearly 20 years, then handing them over to the La Center Historical Museum in January, 2016.
With the help from the community and alumni, the museum was able to replace photos that were lost and have them all reframed. They are now
displayed throughout the City of La Center.
Sharon Bryan has since created a website with over 100 years of grad photos – to view click HERE.
